Pastor West: [00:00:01] That concludes our service for this morning. Well, we are going to minister again on the subject of grace and started last week into a series. And if you have your Bible, if you want to go with me, we won't get there immediately. But let's go, uh, to the book of what do we want to start at? I want you to go to Philippians chapter two, and we won't be there for just a moment, but, uh, but you'll have it open when we get there, so we're okay. Well, good morning and welcome to everyone here and everyone joining us this morning. Glad to have you joining our service here with us. We're going to open the Word of God and begin to read in just a moment. Speaking on the subject, uh, we gave today was titled Jesus, a man full of Grace and truth. Last week when we ministered along this line, you don't have to turn there, but we we read the scripture from John chapter one and uh, verse 16 says about Jesus, and he was of his fullness. Have we all received of his fullness? Have we all received? That goes on. Verse 17 says, for the law was given by Moses, but grace and truth came by Jesus. Well, when you study that out a little bit more, you see that there was a mediator.

Pastor West: [00:01:22] The law was given from God to an angel to Moses. Uh, what we know to be the Ten Commandments. And but it says, but, but Moses was given the law, but Jesus came and gave us grace and truth. Jesus did not come to do away with the law. He came to fulfill it. To our utter amazement sometimes, uh, you know, people say, well, you know, we need to keep the Ten Commandments. Uh, yes. No. But actually in the sense of unless you're Jewish, the law was never given to you anyway. So people are trying to keep something that was never given to them. You know, there's if you study all the law, all of it, or just say the Ten Commandments, because I say all the law, there was 613 other commandments to go with the ten mostly ceremonial ceremonial type things, the 613. But. Jesus said all those laws could be fulfilled in one action. Love. If you loved with the love of God, you wouldn't have to tell someone not to steal or kill, would you? You wouldn't have to tell them not to do anything. But God never intended for you to have a relationship with two tablets of stone, right? But with a person. And so the whole law is fulfilled with one word. The law never made.

Pastor West: [00:02:50] Never healed anyone or made anyone better. The law wasn't designed. Was never designed to fix your sin problem. It was to expose your problem. And the more you man tried to keep it, the more they found out they couldn't keep it. No man ever kept the law perfectly. No, man. It was never intended that you could keep it. It was the real you that you could not keep it. Therefore, we needed something called the grace of God. And so we want to strike a balance this morning. But let me finish one more verse of verse 16. We read last week for the amplified says of his fullness, remember Jesus came with grace and truth. But of his fullness, out of his abundance we have all received, we all had a share, and we were all supplied with one grace after another, spiritual blessing upon spiritual blessing and favor upon favor, gift heaped upon gift. You all care with the heaping. Okay, just want to be sure I was in the right place. Jesus is the perfect example for every believer of what we do in life, right? Isn't he our example? Yes. So I want to give you two things that he revealed to us, vitally important for us to comprehend. Number one, Jesus showed us he gave or he put on display.

Pastor West: [00:04:08] I'm gonna say it this way. He showed us or displayed to each of us what? The relationship from God to man. In other words, if you read another, another places. John said that no man had ever seen the father. No man knew the father even he said, even even the prophets. Elijah, Elijah, Adam, Moses. It said they knew God in portion and in part, but no one ever actually knew the father. Think about that. You don't see anywhere in the Old Testament where it uses the word father. That's right. You got Jehovah God, you know, El Shaddai, Elohim. But no one ever called God the Father. They didn't understand him as father. And so Jesus came to bring out the father to give us a picture of what the father looks like. And so the first one he wanted to display God the man. Then he revealed what a person full of the power of God can do. This morning we was in prayer this morning and sometimes we share. If we hear something, you know, before we leave the room. The purpose of that prayer is not to pray about what we do in our other times, but just to kind of have pre-service prayer. But the Lord, sometimes he'll give instructions he don't understand. It's just pre-service prayer. He's like, okay.

Pastor West: [00:05:25] I was like, this is not the day we do that for. He didn't get the calendar. I wanted to show up for prayer. That's a joke, you know? So anyway, he said, today will be today will be a day of grounding. And today will be a day of establishing. A builder who's building something from the ground up, does most of his work or a lot of his work. First, what is the foundation? It's not the exciting part. It's not the part that you're interested in. We want to know when the cabinets are going up. We want the roof on it. When does the wind is coming in? Well, they don't deliver the windows first, do they? They don't bring the sheetrock first. They don't pay the driveway first. They dig holes in the ground and do all kind of measurements. And then they, you know, they put in rebar and they do all kind of measurements and make sure and depending upon the, the size that you're building of the building or structure or home and the height of it and all such, all that has to be has to be figured out and engineered. And that will depend on Scott. I hope I'm anywhere close to what I'm trying to say. That would depend on what kind of footage you're going to put in, because the higher you're going to go up, the more secure the foundation has to be.

Pastor West: [00:06:38] Jesus taught that in so many ways. He said, A wise man will listen to what I say and go do it. He said, A foolish man. He said he has available to him the same instructions, but he refuses to go and build his life on the sand. He said, but then when the storm comes, not if it comes right. In other words, he said, the storm is on its way. He's not sending the storm. But if you're just in this world, he said, there's going to be situations and troubles. Have you all figured that part out yet? That in this world that there are sometimes situation troubles? Amen. Well, I ask you, brother in law, about it. You know, one day you might have to deal with something like that, he says. So when when the problem comes, when the storm comes, he said, he who built his life upon the rock. He said the storm will hit it just like the man who built it on sand. The man who built on sand. His house is ruined, he said. But the man who built his life on Jesus, the Rock, the revelation of this word he said, he said the storm won't be able to shake it.

Congregation: [00:07:37] Amen.

Pastor West: [00:07:38] Amen. So today will be a day of laying that foundation. Um, you have these notes here that Grace gave me, so I believe it's going to help you now. I told her, Forest Service, I said today, you not seeing some kind of duo to give you lyrics. And she said, uh, I don't I think that meant she was not willing to do that, so I don't know. Or it's a wrong understanding of Jesus. Humanity will always limit what you can do in your life. Now that's the part I want to go over. I know we know these things, but but it's not good enough to know about them or know them. What we're after is that you gain mastery of a subject. Being established. You know, in Hebrews, Paul said, by now you should have been a teacher. This he said, but someone needs to, you know, get the bottle out and feed you and burpee some more. Hmm. That's what I'm not about. I'm just about. This is what Paul told us. In other words, he says it was God's will that we be established in such thing as righteousness. You know, the Bible says in Romans five that grace reigns through your righteousness unto eternal life. Jesus imparted to us what his righteousness. You're not righteous because of anything that you've done, but if you've been born again, you've been made the righteousness of God, not of works, lest that we boast.

Pastor West: [00:09:04] You know, when we make mistakes and we fail, well, let's just call it what it is when we sin. But some people say, well, I fell into sin. I ain't never really met anyone who actually fell until they actually, they actually walked into it. Let's just open it up for what it is. I mean, I guess you could probably fall in there, but most people just walk into it. I like that silence right there. But the grace of God continues to reign in your life. Because where sin abounds, what grace does much more about, we're saying is present. The grace of God is there to demolish it and to destroy it forever. Amen. So that you don't have a heart that's condemned. See, Romans eight one says there is no condemnation to those whose was in Christ Jesus. Did you know that you look a lot better in Christ than you do outside of Christ? So if you don't like the way you look today, it's just because you haven't taken a look at Jesus recently. You look a lot better in him than you do out of him. Amen. Well, the Bible says we are in him, so it's really not your condition. It's his condition.

Congregation: [00:10:18] Amen.

Pastor West: [00:10:19] You might say, well, what's condition is my life, pastor buzzy always say it this way. He's in heaven now. He used to. He used to call me and said, well, little buddy, little brother. I don't know why he called me little buddy. I always felt like skipper. And he's calling me from Arkansas. Hey, little buddy, he said, I'm just he didn't need a thing. He said, I'm just checking in to see what condition your condition is in. I said, why don't you tell me? He said, well, have you looked at Jesus recently? I said, yes, sir, he's within. Everything's looking good. And I said, yes, sir. So we're in a good condition now, let's talk about the humanity of Jesus for a moment, because although we know this, sometimes it's easy to forget because we put Jesus in a class by himself. He is in the fact that he is the Son of God. He is in a class by himself because he he is deity was deity. But the Scripture, not me, not a denomination. The scripture says for a period of time when he came to the earth, he laid what the deity aside. Jesus didn't die in the sense of deity. He died in the sense that he was a man in heaven. He'll always be known as the son of what man? First Timothy two says there's one mediator between God and man, the man Christ Jesus. So if we can see how humanity handled sin. Or life. Then he tells us in John 14, the works that I do shall you do also. You can't give us that kind of charge to go do something, unless we're equipped with what you're equipped with. Look, some people may say, now you're trying to put yourself in the class with Jesus. I said, I'm not trying to put myself in anybody's class. He did that by himself.

Congregation: [00:12:04] Amen. Amen. Amen.

Pastor West: [00:12:08] I mean, I have, I have I mean, I have, you know, I've seen the blind, see. Had nothing to do with me. I mean, I. I couldn't heal a mosquito that can't buy it anymore. You know what good is a mosquito that had to be from the curse, right? I mean, why would God put mosquitoes on the earth just to bite you? Why would a rattlesnake bite? You know, in the millennium, none of that's going to happen. The lion's going to lay down with the lamb. Check that out today and see how it works. The Alabama student in the student and the football players will lay down and they'll all say, roll tide. Amen. Well, I'll you know, I'll look some scriptures up this week. I know it's in there. The blood is red and crimson. So, you know, let's just skip that for right now. Huh? So understanding Jesus humanity is the basis for our hope for victory. That's the basis of it. Jesus was and he is the Son of God. But he came to the earth, born as a child. He came to what redeemed mankind and to reconcile us back to God. So Philippians said, he laid aside his deity. He laid aside that godlike attributes. Uh, so I wrote this down yesterday. Says Jesus is a man full of the grace of God, came and fulfilled the will of God. Without grace and the empowerment of the Holy Spirit, Jesus would have failed.

Pastor West: [00:13:43] So grace, in a big sense, is what grace a lot of translations would just say. Well, grace is unmerited favor. Okay, it is that. But that is not that is a very incomplete definition of just saying grace is I don't even think we know the we know so little. Of what's available to us. On any given subject. But we know so little. Uh, the Bible says the Holy Spirit is called the spirit of Grace. Not the spirit of. I'm about to get you. Granny said that. Hmm'hmm. The. Did you ever notice in the Bible? I mean, granny used to say when she was mad at us, she says, Now God saw that he's going to get you for that. She never said Jesus was going to do that. She said God was going to do it. But Jesus said, I never do anything or say anything unless my father said it. Jesus said, I didn't come to judge you. In other words, I didn't come to condemn you. I came that you might be saved. He'd come to get the penalty off of you. He'd come to show you what the love of God is truly about. All we're wanting to do today is because. Bring. I mean, balance is a bad word, but you know, the subject of grace over the last few years has got a really a bad rap. And you can't take what a few knuckleheads do and say, everyone's doing that, right? I mean, I hear people say all the time say you're one of them grace churches.

Pastor West: [00:15:18] And I said, uh huh. I said, I'm not a Grace church. What kind of church are you? I said we're NCIC. Hd-sdi. They said, come back. I said, I said, we're a new creation in Christ. Holy ghost stuff, doers. That last part, I just do that for fun. There'll be no labels in heaven. You know, in the millennium. We'll go to Jerusalem once a year to hear Jesus preach. Joe Maher said, apparently is so, so good. It can last you for a year. There's people who's doing that now called Easter or Christmas. But I mean, I don't know if I'm sure wherever we live on the earth, you know, we'll have ministry there too. But once a year we all go or we go at different times and we go to Jerusalem and we hear Jesus preach. Can you imagine? Jesus called the word. I said it this way. Can you imagine what it would be like when the word Jesus opens up the word and preaches himself? Okay. I bet they won't be nodding off in that service. If you do, there might be a trap door. No. Probably not. So, uh, Jesus was a man who lived under grace. He has to be our example. So in first John four, you have to go there. But I'm going to read this from the NIV.

Pastor West: [00:16:42] First John four two and three it says, this is how you can recognize the Spirit of God. Every spirit that acknowledges that Jesus Christ is coming to flesh is from God. But every spirit that does not acknowledge Jesus is not from God. This is the spirit of Antichrist, which you have heard is coming and even now is already in the world. So here John tells us, he says, here's how you have to try. Here's how you recognize the Spirit of God. This is how you have to test it. He said, every spirit that will not acknowledge that Jesus actually came from God. From God, born in the world as you and I was born into the world, with the exception of Jesus, was the only Immaculate Conception, right? We had a woman years ago, and I say years ago, and she she had some challenges and she said, I know all about faith. I said, you do. She said, yeah, I know all about it. She said, I'm believing God for a baby. She said, but I ain't got married yet. And she said, I'm tired of waiting. She said, I'm going to have a baby, man or no man. I said you're way beyond me. I'm not even qualified to live where you're at. Thank God I'm not. Well, Jesus came again. As God laid that aside. And we'll read it in just a moment. And he came as the Son of Man because he had to represent fallen mankind.

Pastor West: [00:18:07] He couldn't be born of a natural man, because every natural man through Adam had fallen and had a spiritual death in his spirit. So he couldn't come through a man, but he had to be born of a woman so he could represent mankind and die for their sin. Right? Amen. So any teaching that denies the humanity of Jesus is influenced of the of the Antichrist spirit. Any any teaching that denies Jesus. Jesus himself. Uh, born in this world. Two of two. A mother to a natural father. Is actually the Antichrist spirit. Now watch here. Now we won't turn to these, but I just want you to have the reference form. Acts 1038 says how God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power, who went about doing good and healing all those oppressed of the devil. Here we see Jesus operating under the power of the Holy Spirit. Now my question to you said, why would you read a verse like that for this? For this reason? How God anointed Jesus Christ of Nazareth. If if Jesus came as God, why did he need to be anointed? And if he did, he was going to do it. If he came as God, who was going to anoint God? Tell the Lord you ought to come to our service tonight. Is double its double portion tonight. And, Lord, you could, you could, you know you could elevate tonight.

Pastor West: [00:19:33] No, that's not the way it worked. So we're wanting to see that Jesus came just as you came into the world. He came as man. Now let's read, uh, Philippians chapter two, if you're there, verses five through eight. And. It says, let this mind be in you. Now look at the enormity of these words. Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus. Is that possible? That we could have the mind of Jesus. Tells us to do it, doesn't it? Does it sound like a suggestion to, you know, let this mind be in you, which is in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God. He made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant. It was made in the likeness of men, and being fashioned and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. So here's what I'm trying to say. Although he is God, and although he was the Son of God, he came as the Son of Man. He is your perfect example of how to defeat the devil as a man. Jesus did not defeat the devil as God Himself. He defeated the devil as a man anointed of the Holy Ghost. What do we have the same opportunity today? Do we have the same word? Actually, we have a more complete word, right? They didn't have all this.

Pastor West: [00:21:11] We have the complete word. We have the same God. We have the same father. We have the same Holy Spirit. So Jesus showed how a man, a man defeated Satan. Therefore now we can see how we will live this life. Jesus never created miracles, signs, wonders, any of the wisdom he possessed he never credited to. He says, well, that's because I'm deity. Don't try this at home. No, he did it as a man. Jesus was not born with all that ability. He wasn't born with all that wisdom. He. He was born with all that grace. The scripture make this as your reference. We've read it many times before, but in Luke 240, speaking of Jesus, it says, and the child grew to about Jesus and he. Jesus waxed strong in spirit, filled with wisdom, and the grace of God was upon him. Jesus had to learn. Jesus had to grow. It said here he grew in stature, in wisdom, and in grace was upon him. So if Jesus can grow in the grace, if Jesus can grow in wisdom, if Jesus can grow in understanding, suppose maybe we will also. Now I know this is a simple. Do you think God the Father right now needs to grow in wisdom, stature, grace, anything? I mean, I wouldn't suggest it to him if you think that. No, he doesn't need to grow anything.

Pastor West: [00:22:53] He's. He's omniscient. He's all knowing. He's all powerful. But Jesus didn't come. Is that he came as a man. Came as a baby. Someone had to burp him. Someone had to feed him. Someone had to change the diaper. Hope they had some. He was hungry. He was tired. He walked. As you know, an adult, teaching and preaching. He had he had to bathe. He had to sleep. He. The Bible said he ate meat. Thank God there'll be meat in the millennium. You don't like meat, but they just don't eat that part. Eat something. You know, people someone said the other day said, well, I'm giving up all meat. I said, I'm eating everything. I'll give up everything that has a face to it. And I said, even the head of even a head of cabbage can't eat that either, right? Y'all here already went home. So Jesus wasn't born knowing everything. Do you know everything? Two of you like? No. He was a born knowing everything. Did you know that Jesus wasn't born walking on water? Mary didn't give birth to Jesus and then he started rebuking storms. God got goo goo and started rebuking the storm. Did he do that? No. We see no miracles until the age of 30. Why after 30? Well then he was baptized by John and the Bible said the spirit came upon him as a dove. He was filled with the Holy Ghost.

Pastor West: [00:24:21] After he was filled with the Holy Ghost, he was filled with the empowerment of God. Then we see signs, wonders, miracles, demonstration. What I'm trying to say was Jesus wasn't born with a poof ministry. Why are we going through this? Because he's your example. This is how you're going to operate, because this is how he operated. The works that I do, shall you do? Not once again, like the old commercial. Don't try this at home. This is dangerous. No, it's how we operate. What did he have? Well, he had the Old Testament scrolls. Of course. He had the love of his father. He had the Holy Spirit for grace and wisdom. I'll give you a couple of verses here. Paul said in first Corinthians 130 he says, But of him are you? But of him are you or you in Christ Jesus? But of him are we in Christ Jesus? Who of God is made unto you wisdom, righteousness, sanctification, and redemption, but of him are you? Paul said after his conversion on the road to Damascus, he said, for I am the least of all the apostles, that I am not even meet to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. But he was an apostle. Verse ten of that same opening. See, he said, but by the grace of God, this is this verse has so much in it. You could just stay in one verse for weeks.

Pastor West: [00:25:53] But by the grace of God, I am what I am. Can you say that we should, doesn't he? Paul said, by the grace of God I am what I am. Have you ever had Christian stoned? Yeah. Anyone here? Have you killed anyone for preaching the gospel? Paul did. Have you had him put in prison? Hadn't. Paul did. He was credited for penning about half of this New Testament. Finally who God uses and. He doesn't always use the brightest or the sharpest knife in the drawer. The fact that I'm standing right here, I'll prove that I did everything I could do not to do this. I've had people because, you know, we didn't, I didn't. We pioneered from a kitchen table and someone asked me, they said, how do you start a church? I said, I don't know. They said, well, how long have you been pastor? And I said, well, next year you'll be 30 years. I said, well, how do you do it? I said, I don't know. I said, well, what was your what was your model? I said, I tried everything I could not to do it. I just wanted to stay in business. I was going to be the guy that was going to be real successful in business, and I was going to I was going to write checks. I was going to solve problems. I didn't I wanted the church to quit barbecuing chickens. To build something.

Pastor West: [00:27:14] I wanted to quit hearing announcements, you know, for three months. How much more we needed to get $2,000 to go do something and just say, kid, thank you very much. Can we talk about something else? Not for show. But it takes a lot to fund the ministry. You say, well, the gospel is free. Yeah, well, try getting it out. I mean, the things that we have just bought. Well, that new camera back there, if I walk that way, it's going to follow me. If I walk that way, it's going to follow me. Well, that was just about $5,200. Then I totally forgot. Although Elliott had told me, he says you didn't forget the software, I said software. Who's software? He said, well, that camera's not going to follow you without the software. I said, oh, that's right. I kind of remember that. I said, how much that cost? He said, it's $1,200. I said, oh. And and computers going down. We need another bank book. I said. Oh. So from a word from God in February 3rd to this date, we needed $60,000 to do everything. Not everything's done yet. People are still scheduled to come and do it. And thankfully, because of the grace of God and your generosity that has been accomplished. Amen. That's because there's just hundreds of us here. It was so easy. So when the Lord gave me the figure, I said, who are you talking to? I look behind me.

Pastor West: [00:28:47] I'm like Moses, you know, at the Red sea trapped, and Pharaoh's coming. And the Bible said, Moses cried out to the Lord, and the Lord said, why are you crying to me? And I was thinking, have you looked behind my shoulder? You see that dusty clouds? That's Pharaoh. I don't think he's come here to fish. No, he was coming to destroy and take Moses back, right? Didn't happen, did it? Didn't happen. The Lord said, what's in your hand? Well, that's what the Lord told me to do. He just gave me instructions. Amen. Amen. Because he has plans now. Uh, Paul said, by the grace of God, I am what I am, which was bestowed upon me. This grace that was bestowed upon me was not in vain. He said, I labored more abundantly than all of them. All of you. All. In other words, he says this grace which I'm not even worthy because I'm the one who persecuted God's church. He said, but I have labored more abundantly than all of them yet. Paul said, actually, it really wasn't I doing the labor, but it was the grace of God which works with me. I want to say this to all of you, because I want this to encompass your entire life, whether you're here and you're if you're two years old and could understand this or whether you're 102. The grace of God is greater than you'll ever know. I had an instructor at a Bible school that got on this subject, and he he told us, he said, this happened to me years ago.

Pastor West: [00:30:24] He says, never have no publicly really told it. He said, but the Lord told me to share it here. This is back in 1992 or 3. He said, um, one day I asked the Lord, he said, and I would suggest, don't, don't ever do this, but I'll tell you what happened. He said, you know, the greater is he that's in us, he that's in the world. He said, but he said, Lord, what? How much is your grace actually working in our life that you know that we can say? He said, I believe that, but how much of that grace is working in our life that maybe we're not even aware of? He said, would you show me? Huh? This instructor said, uh, here's Keith Moore. He said, I don't know if it was the next day or within a week. He said he will. He began to teach. He had his notes, class, students and he said, turn to your so and so on your Bible. But he couldn't even remember where the book was. They look at his notes and he couldn't read his notes. Nothing made any sense to him. And then he just sat there as someone who just was lost in space. He said, man, I knew who I was, and I knew I was there and I knew I was supposed to be teaching, he said, but I like I can't find the book of Ephesians.

Pastor West: [00:31:48] I don't know where it's at. So he asked one of the students to go to the administration office and have them come. Have someone come and just tell them I need them to come here real quickly. I need some help. So the dean came of the school. And we're talking with Keith and they had to take him from the classroom. He was instructing and said, well, let's just go to the office and sit down and make sure you're okay. And he says, I don't know where my office is. And they was really concerned about it. And they said, well, okay. So they took him to his office and sat him down. He sat out there, he said basically all day long. And the Lord said, do you really want to know how much my grace is working with you? He said, do not pray that prayer. Now, I'm not saying that it's exactly that way, even though it worked out that way for him, but he had a good understanding of how much grace empowerment was in his life of God working with him even. I mean, you know, if you've been hired by a Bible school to teach students, you need to know where Ephesians is or Romans or whatever, right? You surely need to know where your classroom is and your office ought to be.

Pastor West: [00:33:13] But he said, but I couldn't find it, I didn't know, I think he told me. I remember now, he told the students, he says, that stayed on me. I think he said for three days. So for three days he couldn't teach. He just. He just had to stay home. No matter what you're going through in life. Whatever season you are in life. Some seasons become a little bit more challenging than others, sometimes because of things that happen in our life. Or maybe a loved one passes or, um, you're going through different changes in your life or your age and your maybe physical challenges, all kinds of things. People are at different places at all times. I mean, you know, like like you're at Grace and you're, you know, you're graduating or Zach, you know, coming from college and you're about to start your career or go to school and you just got so many questions. Mr.. Wrong and Mrs.. Right. Just don't get too wrong. It's hard to make a right out of two wrongs, but I'm just saying we have all these things that we're dealing with in life. And sometimes we just forget that the God, the spirit of grace, who loves you, Ephesians said with an intense love to satisfy himself, not you him. He loved you so much. He said so intensely. He said he created you to satisfy his love. For you that he had himself.

Pastor West: [00:34:43] The scripture said. That whatever you're going through in life. You know, sometimes we don't. Sometimes we forget. We think that, Lord, just deliver me from this and thank God he does stuff like that sometimes. Like I said, I mean, I've, I've been privileged to lay my hands on people that was blind. And they see you. Can you imagine what it feels like to lay hands on someone who's totally dark and then have sight? I've laid hands on people who was deaf, couldn't hear, and they get their hearing back. One didn't even have an eardrum. I didn't I didn't even know to ask for it. He knew he couldn't hear out this year at all. He didn't tell me that because he was born without an eardrum. It was the other one that was gone down 90%. I just I heard what to do, and I rebuked that, that dumb and deaf spirit and it came out. But later, you know, he told me, well, he was checking both ears and he really he really got out there because he put the his watch or one of our watches against his ear and started crying. I said, well, he said, I don't have an eardrum. Uh, we prayed for people. I didn't even know she had through a lifestyle that she shouldn't have been in, developed a disease that she. You know, there's really no cure for it. And the Lord totally healed her.

Pastor West: [00:36:09] Not just of the disease, but of the condemnation and the guilt that she carried for the life that she lived. And used your body that way. I watched God recreate parts in the body. I watched God take out parts in the knees from surgeries and give them new knees and remove the parts and the scars. I went to CHS in Clanton. They didn't teach that there. I couldn't heal a broken gnat's wing. But Jesus said, I want to tell you how it happened. I came like you did human. I had to grow and learn in the statue. Jesus found out who he was reading the word. I got those scriptures to prove it to you. Amen. He came to the understanding of who he was and what his reason for being here was. When you read the scripture, you can find out who you are. You say, well, I know who I am. I'm Bob. I was born to Jim and Verna Lou. Maybe you was. That's your earthly story. But before Verna, Lou had you. You was in God. And you'll always be in God. And the grace of God is much bigger than a subject. It's not. It's not a subject. It's not a doctrine. It's the grace. Grace is a person. Grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. It's not a doctrine. It's a he's a person. Amen. And he's a person of Holy Spirit. Grace, if it's anything more than.

Pastor West: [00:37:45] It's more than just unmerited favor. It's empowerment. It's ability. It's God's ability to do for you what you can't do for yourself. It's the ability to God to to give you more than you ever dreamed that you ever imagined. It's the grace of God to help bring you through a season of your life. That may be difficult this time because he he said he suffered the things that we suffered, and he's easily moved with the feeling of your infirmities. I remember a number of years ago, I don't know what. Let me think about it. I told this sometimes, uh, our kids was asking Michelle one time. Oh, no, they was asking me. They said, mama's a little bit different. I said, yeah, what do you mean? She's she's just a little bit different. I said, what do you mean? Well, she's a little bit short tempered sometimes. She says, like her personality is completely changed. So when I said, do you think she's going through a change? And I said, I'm not going to ask her, are you? Well, I kind of knew what they were talking about, but I was there every day. And I suppose, you know, I mean, but I wasn't going to ask, you know, was this the change? But I knew something changed. And I told one of the, the girls, I said, well, if she is, why don't we just give her some grace while she's going through with this? Because God's helping her.

Pastor West: [00:39:13] Which I think was the most simplest, easiest answer that there was. But there's a grace to go through any part of your life. There's a grace to live. There's a grace to leave here. Other than John. I mean, every every one of the apostles, uh, was killed. They tried to kill John. They put him in boiling wax. That would hurt. John wouldn't boil. He had no lobster spirit or shrimp spirit on him. I had to take him out and they exiled him, you know, to the island of Patmos. Peter. Was crucified upside down. They was going to do it just like Jesus. And he said, would you at least turn me upside down? I'm not worthy to die the way my Savior died. So they they crucified him upside down. Paul was excited to leave. Because he said, it's far better to be with Christ than to be here. He contemplated at one time, because it was his. They were going to take his life the next day. And then Paul says, I'm paraphrasing. He says, I hadn't really decided that. You know, like they were. He was voting on it because he knew his time wasn't yet. He wasn't he wasn't finished with his course, is what I'm saying. So he says for me, it'd be far better to go. He said, but it'd be. But it'd be better for you right now if I stay a while.

Pastor West: [00:40:41] So he stayed for the benefit of others. But there was a grace to live. But there's also a grace to leave. You'll never know when you die. You. The spirit will never know. The same spirit that gave you life and you came with the same spirit. When you take your last breath, see, you don't die because you've already died. Romans says you've already died. Death doesn't touch you again. It comes to your body, doesn't just doesn't come to you. You will actually be picked up, so to speak. The scripture over in First John getting off my subject here just a little bit. It says he that you know, the he that loves the brethren, how you know it has passed from death to life. That word passed over means picked up, carried away. It always says like this if there's two cars was going to hit and collide, be a head on collision. It'd be like. And both would have been killed and the head on collision. But you're picked up when death come. And when death comes to the body, he picks you up and takes you out before there's a collision. You're never involved. I thought that'd be good news. Yeah it is. So Grace is in every area of your life. Not a doctrine, but a person. The person and the ability of God. And so let's finish here this morning with this. I want to say that your heart is the door is the place that who you really are.

Pastor West: [00:42:15] That's who you really are in the spirit. But it comes through the new birth. See, your spirit's changed in a moment, isn't it? You become a new creation in Christ Jesus, but your heart and your mind and soul is continually changed by the Word of God, by your meditation, your thinking and growing as Jesus did. Wisdom comes that way. Grace is there. Then you get the understanding of the wisdom and grace. A working understanding and of the knowledge of him, which is what Paul prayed in Ephesians chapter one. He prayed two things, right. For a spirit of wisdom and revelation. In what? In the knowledge of him. Paul never taught us to pray. Listen, Paul never taught you to pray. Taught us to pray that God, God, would you go do this? God would you God? Would you heal this person? God, would you do this and would you do that? We are not Holy Ghost dispatchers sending him out. We are co-laborers together with him. What did Paul pray in the Ephesians? Prayer? That the eyes of your understanding would be what? Enlightened that you would know the hope to which you are called, and the glory of his grace, that you would know the exceeding greatness of his power to you, us who believe. And then the working of that mighty power. Paul prayed that your eyes would be illuminated and you would see what God had already done, instead of asking God to do something.

Congregation: [00:43:38] Amen.

Pastor West: [00:43:39] When we understand that God has already healed you, that God has already delivered you by his grace. Well, what is the what is the payment for healing? Someone had to bear the payment. What is that? Jesus bore the stripes upon his back. Did you not? Yes. For he was wounded. For what? Your transgressions. He was bruised for your iniquities. That by his stripes you are. What? Heal. So it took the stripes on the back. It took him being wounded for you to have the guaranteed covenant promise of healing. Well, is he going to come back and do that again? No. So what do we need to do? We need to have revelation of what he's already done. And then by faith. See, grace is a supplier. Faith is a receiver. Grace brings it to the door but doesn't put it in the pantry. You can go to the Piggly Wiggly right here. Or if you're from Jemison, it's just pig. Go to the pig. Right. Or you can pick any one of three of our or Dollar Generals. Or you can go to Publix. Right. And it's stocked. But you have to go there because they've supplied it. Grace made the supply, but you have to receive the power company brought the availability of electricity to your front yard, but then it had to be hooked to your house. The water meter to this building is right there at the highway, but they don't. But they won't bring it to the building and hook it up. Grace brought it to us. Faith says, thank you, Grace. Now by faith I'll take and I'll receive what you supplied. You can't receive just by faith unless Grace has supplied something.

Pastor West: [00:45:22] Pump said. Well, I can't believe it. Then you don't believe nothing in defending it again, right? So Grace supplied everything that you need, but you need your faith to receive it. Mm. But the Bible says, for by grace you are saved. Through what? Faith. For by grace which was supplied, you receive salvation through faith. You wasn't born again just by faith, and you wasn't born again just by grace. It was by grace through faith that you were saved. Amen. So do we need to understand how to work with grace? We do see. Romans 521 says, Grace reigns through righteousness. Grace reigns through righteousness. It was the righteousness of God is who you are. You are the righteous God not of your works, lest you boast. Right. We talked about that a while ago. So Grace takes to someone who's already righteous and establishing righteousness, and then it does this mighty work based on the foundation of your righteousness, because it's the ability of God. Now we want to cover just one point, and then, uh, it'll be time to have some chicken. Grace wants me to cover this with y'all. Really good. Some of y'all need to straighten up a little bit. I just messing with you. Now, I've heard so many sermons. I'm gonna go a little bit faster, but I've heard so many sermons on the subject on this subject in question. And they said, Could Jesus, could Jesus have sinned? Well, let me ask you. Can you? You're thinking about it. But can Jesus have sinned? Was it was it even possible? Some say, well, no, I mean, Jesus was Son of God.

Pastor West: [00:47:12] He couldn't have sinned. Well, you can't answer it by opinion. You have to go to the Word of God, right? I mean, that's where our answer was. I mean, it just seems real obvious to me that there could be no temptation where there's no desire of the flesh. We want to think, well, Jesus couldn't have no desires. He had flesh. He had flesh, right? People give in to all kinds of things to do. Life. They get into habits. They can drink, they can smoke, they can sip, they can do, they can look, they can, they can try. What is that? It's just it's trying to do something with the flesh. You can eat, you can overeat, you can eat for comfort. You can eat because you know you. Some people, you surprise, they had a great day and they said, let's go eat. When the when the when the, when the devils really bothered me. And trying to tell me he ain't going to work, I get real excited. Boy, I love it when the devil tells me it ain't going to work. That's one of my happiest moments in the world is when he tells me, he said, there ain't no way you going to get out of this situation. There ain't no way this is ever going to work for you. And I told him, I said, get ready to jump in the car, let's go eat some Mexican food. And then we're going to top it off with some ice cream. She said, what flavor? I said, uh.huh, they always got a two for something.

Congregation: [00:48:36] Right!

Pastor West: [00:48:37] Or four for something right? Because I read in that book, don't tell anybody yet. Don't tell me. But I read in that book that Satan is the father of all lies. Jesus said he was a murderer from the beginning. He says, you can't believe nothing. He tells you nothing. I looked up word nothing. And you know what it meant. No thing, not a thing. So what he's telling you when he tells you it's not working, that means it's working. Amen. He's telling you the opposite. Because he's in the realm of the spirit. He can see some things moving around and he sees the supply coming to you. So he tells you it ain't coming. It ain't coming because he needs you to go the other way with your faith. Right? He knows it's on the way. He knows it's coming. He's the father of all lies. God. God doesn't love you. It's like, well, go eat some more Mexican. Praise the Lord. Hallelujah! I had the letter K be back tomorrow. I can't wait to see what Z's going to be like. Then we start all over again. Now I go to Longhorns two because I'm being patronized those people too. But sometimes you can say I'm on a victory. Let's eat. But then you're going to be a heavyweight Christian. You'll be full gospel.

Pastor West: [00:49:55] So people do all kinds of things with their bodies, you know, whether it's drinking or smoking or dipping, whatever, because, well, I'm under such pressure. And so it's your crutch. Well, don't you have the Holy Spirit? Well, yeah. Was that what does that mean when you do your hair like that just means you need to be Christian slapped. Every church needs two lines, you know, laying on of hands for whatever. And the slap line. Amen. My mama had both. She said, come here. Sometimes she'd hug you and she prayed for you. And other times she'd stop it. Actually, it was a lot harder than that. Well, so the grace of God, this is what it does. So Hebrews 415 says, But Jesus was in all points, tempted like as we are, yet without sin. Oh, he was tempted like you are. Yet he did it without sin. Now, let me ask you this was Jesus temptation different than ours? Do you suppose? Was he here as deity? No. So could this temptation be any different? Was his. Was his? Was his creative body and flesh different from ours? Maybe it was a fake temptation. You know, you can read the story of him in the wilderness for 40 days. You think that was a fake temptation? Maybe the devil didn't make a real run at him. We thank Brother Dennis. You think it was just a fake temptation? He just kind of. Maybe the angels deflected the temptation. May God give him a pass. Since Jesus was the beloved son. Well, then how was he able to conquer sin? This is where now the rubber meets the road.

Pastor West: [00:51:46] We're having to close. What was. What was that? Why was Jesus able to conquer and be the only one who didn't have sin? See, now that goes back to the first of the message. He came as a man who had to be anointed of the Holy Ghost. You today are women and men of God, believers in God, and new creations in Christ. And you have the same thing Jesus had. So why do we have to make excuses right? I'm not talking to you to tell you to do better. The church is preset for every and turned out with nothing. The church is looking for behavior modification instead of heart transformation. If you change what you believe with your heart, you'll get a different result. But just preaching the law. The Bible says the sin got its strength from the law. So it tells you to wake to righteousness. God doesn't need you to straighten up. Jesus believe he's already settled the sin problem. Right now he just needs the real gospel of grace to be preached. When you get hold the grace of God and you find out how much he loves you, sin will lose all of its appeal. I ain't got to smoke something, dip something and drink three something. I mean, think about it. You don't do that. Anything else in life? You don't go to a restaurant and they'll say, okay, what do you have to eat? They get a drink order for us first, right. The drink order. Well, I'm going to need five teas.

Pastor West: [00:53:12] I mean, if a guy has to sit down and drink a six pack of beer, I'm not condemning anyone. I'm just saying as an example. I mean, are you that thirsty? Do you go home at night and drink 12 Cokes? Or six Cokes. Well, it just takes the edge off. Edge of what? They used to be. Used to be a what do you call those things? Soap operas didn't have something called the Edge. The edge of whatever I'm saying is a pretty good series. Come on. Come on, sister, you. Come on in the booth. And. You know, you remember the one. Like as a stomach turns. I mean, as the world turns. Did you notice that no one ever works in in those. They just. They just, you know, get together and they have little drinks or big drinks and a bunch of affairs. And then people look at their life like. I just been cleaned out. The chicken pen. Did you look at all the laundries in there? And it'd be. You'd just be so happy if your husband would ring it now. Not. Not even wash the clothes. He just put them in the dirty laundry. Just a little. Help your life. Don't look nothing like that. So what do we do? We go home and watch carnal people thinking that's a better life. What are you trying to do? You're trying to get a break from your real life. That's because you ain't looked at Jesus lately. Jesus had ever. Could Jesus have sinned? Yes. Why didn't he sin? He understood grace.

Pastor West: [00:54:57] What did he do? He went to the throne of grace. To what? To receive mercy and grace to help you in your time of need. Now two things. Thank God for forgiveness and thank God for mercy. Aren't you glad for mercy? And by his grace, he's so good that even when we make mistakes and we fail sin, let's just call it what it is that he forgives us. According to first John. We confess that sin before him. He's faithful and just to forgive us all sin and restore us unto righteousness. But, but you don't have to get mercy all the time if you just lived in the apartment of Grace. If you find yourself going in that direction, you train yourself to say, I'm not giving in to this thing no more. I'm not going to do this. I'm not going to swallow this. I'm not going to take this. I'm not going to look at this computer and look at this stuff. Why? It's not who you are. Because you now you have really become established that you're you're the righteousness of God. What does that mean? That means with God, you've been made right. You're right with God. Jude said, one day Jesus is going to present you to God, faultless and blameless. We always get and say, that's your nickname in heaven you'll be going by. And Jesus said, there goes my daughter, faultless. There's another one called blameless. Why? Because none of you. Not because of him. Because of what you did. Not because of what he did. Because of what he did.

Congregation: [00:56:22] Amen.

Pastor West: [00:56:23] His grace is greater. You know, grace has a better grip on you than you have on it. What is fallen from grace mean, loses salvation. No, has nothing to do with losing salvation. Grace has nothing to do with losing salvation. Or people say you've fallen from grace. I always thought as a kid like that means you're not saved anymore. No, no. That's what religion teaches you. When you fall from grace, all that is, is instead of taking the grace of God and the ability of God to walk through life, you you start to do it in your own ability, might and intellect. And then you. The Bible says that. The Bible says that's frustrates grace when you walk away from what he can do and wants to do in you, and you say, I'll work this thing out, or me and him will do it together. What? Are you going to help him? Where? He doesn't quite measure up. The only battles that you're called to fight in this world is the one that Jesus ain't whipped yet. Find out where. Find out the battles that he didn't defeat you. Now you know what your fight is. Boy, that's better preaching than what, y'all. Okay, I'll finish here. I got two minutes. Let me get to the the real stuff. Romans 520 says, where sin abounded, grace did much more abound. Does God hate sin? Yes he does. He still hates sin. He saved us so that we could come out of sin. He gave the believer the ability to conquer sin by his own power. By God's power. Romans 614 says, sin shall not have dominion over you, for you are not under the law, but you're under grace. You're not under a tablet. You're not under the Big Ten. You're not under the ceremonial laws. You're under grace. Jesus came, fulfilled all the law for you, as if you kept all of it yourself before God because of what Jesus did. It's if you kept every law jot and tittle because of Jesus. That's good.

Congregation: [00:58:37] That's good.

Pastor West: [00:58:37] If sin has dominion over you this morning, it's because you're still live with someone who has a sin nature. Many, many Christians still teach you that we have two natures. You do not have two natures. You cannot prove that from the Scripture. You cannot tell me that you have two natures. You cannot. You cannot tell me that God told you. Now the rattlesnake is still here, still bite you. But I gave it a good. I gave it a good whooping. Talking to you said, well, then why do we, you know, fail sometimes. Well, it's the you know, you're born again. Everything in here is made brand new. And your spirit, your spirit seal your spirit can't touch sin. The real you is your spirit, right? So since you've been born again, sin has never touched your spirit. You say you've never sinned in one sense, since you've been a Christian. Your spirit, because it's sealed, it's holy, it's blameless. It's got all of God in it. What's your problem? The soul. This mind that's still connected to the old man, the old world. It wants to think like it used to think. That's why it tells you to remove it. I mean, renew it.

Congregation: [00:59:42] Amen.

Pastor West: [00:59:44] Sometimes we think it'd be better if people could just remove their mind. But you can't do that. So he said, renew it. Why let this mind be in you, which is in Christ Jesus? Or how do I get it? I. I get his mind right here. I begin to think like he thinks it's going to make you look strange to some people. Walking by faith can make you look real strange. Before that wall was back there to the sanctuary. It was all open to the foyer. You go from here to the tile. I had a man come in one time. I'll stop right here. Had a man come here one time. Didn't even know who he was. I had no idea who he was, and he was. We had three rows in here, and he was in the middle row. And I walked out to him and, uh. And I said, do you, do you need a healing or do you need to be healed? And he says, well, what do you mean? I said, I don't know. And he said, well, I had an accident years ago. And he said, uh, I haven't been to work. I've been on disability since then. And, uh, I didn't ask him anything else. It sound like the craziest instruction that you'd ever want to hear? I mean, it made no sense to my mind. I didn't even want to say it. It was just nuts if you thought about it. And a visitor and I just walk out there.

Pastor West: [01:00:57] He didn't know me. He didn't know anybody. And I said, Will you turn around? I said, look in that foyer there. Like I said, this wall wasn't back here. And I said, you see that picture on that back wall? Kind of were gracious pictures of that poster. And I said, if you'll just go back there and touch that, just touch it, then run back here. I said, you'll be healed. He said, do I? I said, yeah, I know it sounds crazy. He said, you want me to go back there and touch it? I said, yeah. I said, then run back. He said, but I said, no, don't. Don't tell me what? Nothing else. Just just just it's your choice. Do do what you want to. He said, okay, one more time. You want me to walk back there, just touch the sign. Touch the picture, I said, yeah, then run back. He said. But I said. Well, his family was here with him. He walked back there and he hobbled back there, and he'd done his thing back there, and he's holding back there. And he touched the sign. And then he took 2 or 3 steps. Apparently he felt something. Well, what I didn't know. And he started running. All his family went, oh, he was doing one of those metal doors on the chain, and a tornado storm was coming up somewhere. And I think he was in Leeds, Alabama, and it took his, uh, chain, got around his arm and it took and it twisted him up all the way into the door, and it broke his shoulder and got into his ribs and got down into his hip and everything.

Pastor West: [01:02:19] And he had never been able to walk really good since then. So when he started running back. The Lord performed a shoulder surgery, ribs and went down into his hips and everything while because he touched a picture. Does that make any sense to you? That's what the Lord told me. It just looked like someone who's the most intelligent person in the world. Wouldn't give you instructions like that. Did you? Did you ever read Mark 11? Jesus talked to a fig tree. And cursed it. Can you imagine the creed of the world? Who created everything was happening. He himself was having a conversation with the fig tree. Hello little buddy. You ain't producing, are you? Mhm. I told you to produce them when I put you down here. No man should eat fruit of you hereafter. There was no man eating already. He said no man shall eat fruit. There was no fruit on it. Jesus, the most intelligent person. Actually, God was talking to a tree. The Lord gave me that. And I said, well, I don't feel too bad than asking the man to go touch a picture. Jesus spoke to a withered hand's crippled, right? He spoke to storms. He's pretty intelligent, isn't he? Yeah.

Pastor West: [01:03:31] So you have the same grace and you have the same ability. I just want you to wake into it some more. I want you to remember that when you're going through a situation that you just don't start going in your mind and your willpower, because that's what we generally do, is we got to like, we got a big day coming. And it's like, I mean, I remember the first funeral I ever did. I was terrified out of my mind. I mean, it was different than preaching. I had some comfort here. But now my first funeral, which was a long time ago, and I just said, Lord, could the rapture be today? Oh God, could the rapture be today? Let me. You go in the room and people's crying everywhere and you're thinking, I hope I ain't saying, oh God, give me something. Oh, but it's different than this. And so I. The second funeral is what it was, and I didn't even hardly know the guy. His dad came to the church. I mean, his son came to the church. And then he said, would you do my dad's funeral? I said, uhhuh. I was terrified. I was absolutely terrified. We was in another city. And the guy, the director, he came to me, he said. He said he called me Reverend, which I don't really like that word. He said, we're ready to start. And I'm thinking, not me. I ain't ready for nothing.

Pastor West: [01:04:41] I'm ready to get out of here. I mean, I mean, I got post notes and I got this and I got that. Then I had this man's brother on the front row, and he was wailing like, you was on a torture rack. And my heart was going. You know? And he got louder and louder. And I was just barely in my 30s. And I went I went to the he said, what were you going to go outside? I need to rest. And he said, we need to start. I said, I need to go to restroom, and I don't think you're going to start without me. I got thinking like, you ain't totally in control. So I went to the bathroom and I said, oh, God, oh, God, deliver me. Oh, God. But I just thought it wasn't about me, but I was like, I didn't want to say or do anything. I had no experience in the funeral. Never. I mean, I paid no attention during Bible school because I was never going to do this. I mean, they covered it, but I slept at study hall. As far as I was concerned. I'm going to be a businessman. Right. So I had no notes. And I had a friend from Louisiana who came to Bible school, and he was a mortician. Before I came, I called him, I said, can you help me? He says, no. He says, he says, this is going to be fun. I want to talk to you afterwards.

Pastor West: [01:05:53] I says, I don't even like you anymore. Don't ever call me or talk to me ever again. And I went into the bathroom and I said, God, I need to help these people. And that man out there, I said, can you hear him? God, I can hear him in the bathroom. He's waiting like a coyote and, you know, at the moon. And the Lord didn't tell me nothing. And I walked back there. I mean, I mean, you got to do what you got to do. And I said, Lord, I need your Grace. I didn't even understand what I'm teaching you to do. You know, any depth of it? And I walked and I sat down there and they started the song, and I'm, you know, I had my eyes closed, like, you know, I'm supposed to be real, but. But I was like, I was talking to tongues. Wide open shot like. The interpretation was oh dear God, mercy, mercy, grace, grace. And when I stood up, I don't know how to say this. I tangibly felt something come over me. I can't really explain it, but I tangibly felt and I know it was the anointing, but I could actually feel it come over me. And when I stood up, it was me. But it wasn't me. And I just started seeing things and hearing things, and I began to say things, and I took my notes and I put them aside like that right over there.

Pastor West: [01:07:02] And then this is going to sound really weird. And the Lord, I heard the Lord during that song. He says, how long are you going to put up with that? Tell me about that man's brother wailing and crying. I said, how long am I going to put up with it? I mean, what do you want me to do about it? He said, don't you have authority in my name? I said, yeah, he said, well, stop him. I said, you want me to leave here and go down here and there, and if you don't say, stop it. He said, no. He said, just stop it. You can say it under your breath. I said, I can do that. He says, he said, give it a give it a try. And you're like, you know, take a car for a spin. And I said, well, that's all, I'm going to try this. I said, the name of Jesus, Lord, help him, but shut him up. You know, sometimes demonic things can happen. It was past grief. It was just. I mean, it was just. It was pitiful. No one could hear anything. You could barely hear the song. And I said, in the name of Jesus, I said, I command you to stop. And within two seconds, he went from wide open to nothing. And I said, look at him. I said, I got me something here. So when I stood up, that empowerment came all over me.

Pastor West: [01:08:08] And this is going to sound weird. This is going to really sound really weird. I started having fun. I enjoy this much, I do church, I mean, this man is going to heaven. And then it kind of broke into a fun, hilarious kind of whatever and some good things. And everyone was edified not because of me, but because of the spirit of grace that was working in me. Yeah. Later on I said, Lord, what was that? He said, well, see, you're used to doing it this way so much. He says. Nothing changed. But you become very accustomed to this way. But it's the same anointing. But when you stood up in the in, the conditions change on you. He said you felt what actually happens to you all the time, but you just wasn't aware of it because you become accustomed to it. And I repented right then. I said, oh my God, I didn't know that. I said, every Sunday. Then he said, you remember? You remember. Brother Keith couldn't find his room, couldn't find the book of acts, couldn't find Romans. I said, oh yeah, he said, works in you every week. He said, tell the people the same thing. So this week, let's just pay a little bit more attention. Let's just thank God for grace working in our life, the ability and the strength of God, the might, the wisdom. Jesus said he had to learn it and grow in it.

Congregation: [01:09:27] Mhm.

Pastor West: [01:09:28] Well, if he did, I think we do. Amen.
